What Freedom offers
Freedom describes app and website blocking across supported phones and computers, advance and recurring scheduling, blocklists and a Locked Mode intended to prevent quitting a running session.
Its official site explicitly includes recurring schedules. A comparison that claims Freedom cannot cover a session you forget to start would ignore those published scheduling tools.

Which arrangement fits your day?
If distractions move between your laptop and phone, cross-device coverage can be a primary requirement. Inspect the actual platforms and blocking methods you need rather than assuming that one mobile rule controls the whole work environment.
Warden focuses on an iPhone plan, personal suggestions and recorded protection, with an optional trusted person reviewing early access. Consider it for that arrangement, not as a claim of equivalent desktop coverage. Test the exception you expect to make, as well as starting the block.
Try the scenario that matters
Choose one nonessential app, a short period and a normal exception. Test starting the rule, keeping a needed tool available and returning to the block after access ends. Review any purchase and renewal terms before subscribing.
